Welcome to the YWAM Salem Website! Let me introduce ourselves.
We are Yndira and Jesse Reese and we are the directors of YWAM Salem.

Yndira and I joined YWAM as singles in 1995. Yndira being from Mexico joined the Kings Kids ministry that was running in her city, and later did her DTS in the Dominican Republic in 1998. I came from Alaska to YWAM Salem to do my DTS in 1995 and joined staff a few months later. When Yndira came to the Salem Base in the fall of 1999, it did not take me very long to notice her beauty and deep love for God. After getting to know each other while staffing DTS’s we became engaged and were married in Mexico. Not long after we returned to the Salem Base, the directors Steve and Karen Kilpatrick asked us to pray about taking over the leadership of the Base. Through much prayer God confirmed that it was His will for us to take the leadership of the Salem Base, and it has been our joy since October 2003.

We can honestly say that for us YWAM has been and is a wonderful place to serve the Lord.

As the leaders of YWAM Salem, my wife and I would like to personally invite you to consider joining us in our quest to recruit, train, and mobilize missionaries to bless and disciple the nations!

God has placed unique callings and giftings upon the Korean people that He desires to use for His glory in the nations. But I am sure you know there are many challenges to being successful on the mission field. We have recognized these challenges and have specially designed training courses to give you foundational training that will help you be successful in reaching your goal of becoming an effective missionary.
